DWI/Driving While Intoxicated
Jim Medley spent years being trained by the State in DWI investigations. He is certified in field sobriety testing, and he knows how to successfully attack these tests and their results. He is also a certified breath testing operator and owns his own breath test machine. Mr. Medley is a member of the National College for DUI Defense, and attends regular training on defending DWI cases. Several clients have defeated license suspension, had their DWI dismissed, or their DWI reduced to a lesser charge with Mr. Medley's skillful representation.

Possession / Delivery of Drugs / Controlled Substance
Attorney Jim Medley also received extensive exposure and experience with drug arrests as an officer. Mr. Medley is familiar with search warrants, jump-out tactics, traffic stops, and undercover operations. Mr. Medley knows which police procedures are appropriate and which are unlawful in drug investigations. Jim Medley also has 7 years of experience teaching arrest and search & seizure law at the college level to police officers. He has used this knowledge to have many drug cases completely dismissed.

Theft/ Shoplifting
Attorney Jim Medley was the former head of security at a large department store. This position provided Mr. Medley with valuable experience and training in the procedures retail stores use or should use in apprehending people suspected of shoplifting. Mr. Medley has had several theft charges dismissed for clients.

As a professor, Attorney Medley was required to study the law in great detail in order to be able to teach effectively.
