Harris County Enacts New, More Lenient Marijuana Policy

Houstonians caught with small amounts of marijuana will no longer be going to jail.

As of March 1, 2017, Houstonians caught with small amounts of marijuana will no longer be going to jail, due to Harris County’s revised marijuana policy.
